Child Safety Policy

Our Concerns are for the Safety of your children.

We understand how challenging it is to find time to spend on yourself. We also understand how sometimes your time for yourself doesn’t always align with your appointments at My Addiction Skin Care.

With that being said, we love kids and have several of our own. However, our policy strictly prohibits unsupervised children in the shop. In the event that you must bring a young child into the shop, please provide proper supervision for them in the form of an additional caretaker. Unfortunately, the shop cannot provide childcare services.

It is also unsafe to have a child on your lap or laying on a lash bed with you while your lashes are being applied. Older children 12 years and older, capable of sitting quietly and unsupervised, may wait in any of the provided seating areas.

While this policy helps ensure that all guests enjoy a relaxing experience here at My Addiction Skin Care, it was created with your child’s safety in mind. Our Shop is not childproof. Sharp objects and tools are used at various times throughout the day and could make for a potentially dangerous environment for young children.

My Addiction Skin Care staff are dedicated to providing each of our clients with the highest level of service possible. We are here to pamper you and appreciate you making other arrangements for your children while you are in our care.

We greatly appreciate your compliance with our Child Safety Policy.

Cancellation & No Show

We understand that emergencies happen, last minute things come up, and you are unable to make it to your appointment at My Addiction Skin Care. But for those times that you just want to reschedule, or don’t show to your appointment, the following has been put in place:

  1. Please reschedule your appointment for a lash re-fill, Wax or Facial at least 3 hours ahead of time or you will be charged 50% of the service.
  2. If you have a Full Set Scheduled, please call 24 hours in advance to reschedule or it will be a 50% service charge.
  3. If you no show to an appointment, meaning you don’t call or leave a voicemail during normal business hours, you will be charged a 50% service charge.

Cell Phone

Within the last 5-10 years, cell phones and technology have played a huge part in today’s society. We here at My Addiction Skin Care completely understand that. We use social media and the internet as a tool to promote our business as well. With that being said, it’s also becoming a distraction at times while coming in to get a service done. Out of respect for our staff and clients, we ask that you adhere to the following:

  • While getting your service done, please place your phone on silent.
  • If you do receive a call while in the middle of your service, it will cut into your time, therefore possibly leaving you unsatisfied. Our Lash Artists cannot work on you while you are talking as it moves your eyes up and down, and we use sharp tools while applying the lash extensions. This is for your safety, as well as so you can leave getting your full scheduled time.
  • While checking out in the front, please be mindful of the questions the front desk staff is asking you. We do ask that you completely check out before calling and texting on your cell phone unless it’s an emergency situation as it does hold the line up.
  • If you are using your cell phone while waiting for your appointment that’s perfectly fine, just please be mindful of the other clients in the shop and keep your voice at a lower level if possible. Otherwise please step outside to take your phone call if you can.
